Introduction Welcome to Homee, ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Homee platform and services (the "Service") provided by Homee. By accessing or using the Service, you ("User," "You," "Your") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Definitions Account: A unique user profile created to access and use Homee’s platform and services. Content: Any material or information, including text, images, and media, uploaded or provided by users. Service: Refers to the platform and services provided by Homee, including its website and mobile application. Listing: A property, room, or housing offer posted by a user for rent, sale, or share. User: Any individual or entity that uses the Homee platform, whether as a listing creator, housemate seeker, or other participant. Operator: Refers to Homee, Inc. and its affiliates, which provide the platform. Feedback: Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the features, performance, or functionality of the Service. Payment: Any monetary transaction conducted through the platform, including service fees. Service Fees: Any charges or fees assessed by Homee for using certain aspects of the platform, such as posting a listing, processing payments, or other service-related activities.

Acceptance of Terms By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that business or entity to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
You represent that you are over the age of majority according to the laws of your country or the country in which the Service is operated, whichever is higher. The Company or Operator does not permit those under that age to use the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. Please read our Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.
- Account Registration To access certain features of the Service, you are required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. Failure to do so may result in the termination of your account. You must also ensure that your account information is kept up to date.
You may not use the name of another person or entity as your username or choose a name that is offensive or violates any trademarks or rights of others.

Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older to use Homee. Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when registering and creating listings. User Conduct: You agree to follow all applicable laws and refrain from: Fraud: Engaging in any fraudulent activities, including but not limited to false listings, impersonation, or manipulation of the platform. Harassment: Harassing other users through offensive, threatening, or abusive behavior. Discrimination: Discriminating against others based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other protected characteristic. Unlawful Content: Posting content that is unlawful, offensive, or misleading. You agree not to use Homee for any illegal activities or to violate the rights of others.
5.2 Account Information You may be asked to provide your personal information (e.g., name, email, phone number, address), and identity verification documents, including bank account details, passports or other forms of identification, if required.
5.3 Account Review We do not perform background checks or endorse any users. We do not accept responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any information provided by users.
5.4 Account Password You are responsible for safeguarding your password and notifying us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
- Listings and Content 6.1 Your Right to Post Content You are responsible for all Content you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. By posting Content, you grant Homee a license to use, modify, publicly perform, display, reproduce, and distribute the Content across the platform and social media. This license is non-exclusive and extends to Homee’s users. By posting content, you also grant Homee the right to distribute, modify, and use such content across social media platforms or other promotional channels related to Homee's business.
You represent that:
You own the Content, or you have permission to post it. Posting the Content does not violate any rights, including privacy, publicity, copyright, or contractual rights.
6.2 Content Restrictions Homee is not responsible for the content of user-generated material. You are solely responsible for the Content and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether by you or a third person. You agree not to transmit any unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable Content, including but not limited to:
Content promoting unlawful activity. Defamatory, discriminatory, or hate-driven content. Spam or unsolicited advertising. Content containing harmful software (e.g., viruses, malware). Infringing on proprietary rights (patent, copyright, trademark). Impersonating others or violating privacy.
Homee reserves the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms, in its sole discretion. We may also limit or revoke your use of the Service if you post objectionable Content. By using the Service, you acknowledge the risk of encountering such content and agree not to hold Homee liable.
- Payments 7.1 Payment Methods Payment can be made through various methods available within the Service. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways, and these gateways have their own terms of service and limitations.
7.2 Payment Authorisation All payment transactions, including credit or debit card payments, are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your card issuer. If the required authorisation is not received, Homee is not liable for any delays or failure to deliver your order.
7.3 Service Fees The Company may charge service fees for using the Service, including transaction and processing fees. More information about the service fees is provided during your Order process. The Company reserves the right to change these fees at any time without prior notice.

8.1 Limitation of Liability Homee is a platform and does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of listings, interactions, or agreements made between users. We are not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from your use of the platform. The Company shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of data or business interruption.
8.2 "AS IS" Disclaimer The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," with all faults, without any warranty of any kind. The Company makes no representations about the Service’s ability to meet your needs or operate without interruptions or errors.
8.3 Third-Party Websites The Service may contain links to third-party websites that are not controlled by the Company. The Company assumes no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of these sites. You are encouraged to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites.

Intellectual Property All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its content, features, and functionality, are owned by the Company or its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorised use of the Company’s intellectual property is prohibited.

Feedback Any feedback, suggestions, or other submissions you provide to the Company become its exclusive property. You grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your feedback worldwide.

We will not notify you of any material changes via email or through the platform; it is your responsibility to check for changes or updates to the Terms.

Dispute Resolution If you have any concerns or disputes about the Service, you agree to attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting Homee first. If a resolution cannot be reached, any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the laws of the jurisdiction where Homee operates. Users will bear their own costs in arbitration unless the law requires otherwise.
