1. Be Honest & Clear 📝

• Describe the room, home, and housemates accurately
• Share realistic, up-to-date photos
• Be upfront about rent, bills, deposit, and any extra costs
• Let people know about house expectations, like cleaning routines or noise levels

2. Respect Everyone 💛

• No swearing, offensive language, or aggressive tone.
• Don’t discriminate, make assumptions or comments about race (including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin), gender, religion, sexuality, or disability. Check local laws as you may be able to have certain preferences if you live in the house and will be living with the person e.g. "We prefer a female flatmate as all current housemates are female." Though you must be able offer an explanation for your preference and must not express preferences based on race or ethnicity under any circumstances.

3. Stay Within the Rules 📜

• HOMEE follows fair housing and anti-discrimination laws — your listing must too.
• Make sure your listing follows local rental and housing regulations.
• Don’t post anything illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or unsafe.
• Avoid external links or promotions unrelated to your room listing.

4. Be a Good Community Member 🌱

• Use your listing to invite, not exclude.
• Share enough essential details so people can understand the vibe of the house and housemates
• If your housemates are on HOMEE, link their profiles in your listing so people can get a sense of who they’ll be living with.
• Keep your listing up to date and remove it once the room is filled.
